Hi Simon, you may need a better player. The MOV files do have trouble on some players. I had the most luck with the real Quicktime from Apple. I am considering providing a non-MOV version, however the downside will be a loss of quality. I converted the youtube clips to rather large AVI files, and that is how I managed to get them synced in youtube. The conversion somehow fixed it so that it works in all players.

Hey Chris,

I was just wondering where I can download the synched versions of these videos. I have the self under seige and that is synched but my copy of philosophy and human values is out. Your youtube channel has it synched but the links seem to be to unsynched iterations. Any help would be great.

Thanks and you're a star for your efforts with Rick's work.

Thank you Wimpy,

You met my need for inspiration and information when I was at a stuck point in my master's thesis on Husserl. Your contribution to intelligence on the planet is appreciated by me (and I bet many others). Rick Roderick makes Heidegger and the project of authentic life relevant and inspiring. Thanks again. Now back to my project.

Warmly,
Paul

Correction: the 20100121 rev of Self Under Siege lacked mp3 tags like the 2 other sets. This link for Self has the tags and is a bit bigger also since it's 224Kbps instead of the earlier rev's 192Kbps. Please use the following link:

Thank you thank you thank you!!! The 1990 and 1993 video's audio quality is excellent! The video's were source audio for new mp3 sets linked below. The new sets sound much better, especially the 1990 set. This is also posted at "What happened to Rick Roderick".

Thanks to wimpywombat and, of course, to Dr. Roderick!
